MISC has just wrapped production on a series of films in collaboration with City Of Hope, to promote the National Cancer Institute's groundbreaking research initiative: offering comprehensive genetic testing to every patient.

2020 has been a year that, among many other challenges, changed the way we discover and experience films. Though many of us were unable to gather in movie theaters, there were still many great films that premiered on a range of streaming platforms. As this tumultuous year comes to a close, MISC recommends the following films which emotionally delve into issues that affect all of us.

Road to Zion, a film written and directed by Andrew Reid, has been officially selected for Slamdance 2021. Developed in the MISC class, the film is about a Jamaican immigrant finding his life shaken by forces outside his control.

We are pleased to announce that MISC will join The Green Film School Alliance, a new a consortium of film schools and industry companies who have come together for the goal of attaining sustainability and best environmental practices in film production.
