Social Impact Entertainment Society Launches Alliance For Art Makers

Filmmakers Robert Rippberger and Tobias Deml recently launched the Social Impact Entertainment Society, an organization which will serve as a central hub to connect, empower and create alliances between Social Impact Entertainment companies, content creators, organizations, institutions and professionals. MISC is thrilled to join this team of entertainment industry leaders and advisors as we collectively make the SIE Society the hub for Storytellers everywhere. The SIE Advisory Board includes industry leaders such as Laura Herb from the Skoll Center for Social Impact Entertainment, Michael Taylor from the USC Media Institute For Social Change, and numerous accomplished film and television producers as well as renowned human rights advocates.

The SIE Society was created to provide a platform for this community to connect, collaborate, access and share valuable resources, and learn from some of the greatest voices and thought-leaders in SIE. This society is meant to engage communities working in multiple Social Impact Entertainment segments to help foster discussion, creativity and action to reflect a more positive and inclusive world. “We are excited to be launching with such high caliber partners," said Rebecca Graham Forde, Head of Partnerships and Amplification.
