Venice Neverland documentary screens as part of USC Homeless Awareness Week

Venice Neverland: Street Kids of Venice Beach documents the tribe of self-proclaimed street kids who USC film school alum Victoria Peralto Cruz calls family. Peralto Cruz made the short doc while at the School of Cinematic Arts, bravely documenting her own experience as a homeless young adult.

The film will screen on Monday November 11th as part of the USC Homelessness Initiative’s Homelessness Awareness Week. After the 3pm screening at TCC 450 on the USC Campus, members of the USC Food Pantry, Trojan Homeless Shelter, and other homelessness activists will engage in a panel discussion.

In addition to this screening, Peralto Cruz’s film has premiered at several film festivals including The Other Venice Film Festival and the Sunscreen Festival.
